About the Author
Hello! I’m Shefali Prem, a South Asian-American author of steamy contemporary romance books filled with sizzling chemistry, emotional growth, and found family. As a lifelong reader of romance novels, I now write my own stories, each one filled with heart, heat, and the guaranteed happily-ever-afters I love so much.
I have called both U.S. coasts home and have traveled through nearly every state in the country, but I grew up mostly in New England. It wasn’t until I moved to New Jersey with my own children that I began to learn more about my Indian culture…and I’m still learning because it’s so diverse! I mention this up-front in case you are expecting mostly Desi characters. I’m sorry to say they are not, except for Joey in Ready to Play, who is half-South Asian, though I do have plans for a novella in the future where she connects with her cultural roots.
The Ready for Love series follows the Hutchinson family, their best friends, and the people they fall in love with. Each book features a different couple as they deal with heartbreak and healing, even as the heat between them is undeniable.
